                   'Remembering Norcross: Nuggets of Nostalgia'

For years, most Gwinnett cities have needed to save more of the wonderful stories from their past, in effect, needing a recollection of some of the events that made these cities what they are today.

Sally Toole has done this for Norcross, with her book 'Remembering Norcross:Nuggets of Nostalgia'.  She not only captures some of the significant stories, but she has crisp photos of what once was, sometimes even reenacted, to give added depth to the book. Wish that more of the 15 Gwinnett cities had what Sally Toole has done for Norcross.

POST A REVIEW OF YOUR OWN!! (I print the GOOD and the POOR alike!)

"The Best Bift I Never Opened"

I finished your book a few days back and wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it!  I also wanted to let you know how much our lives paralleled one another for awhile.  I was born in Prince George’s hospital for woman inside Washington D.C. in 1965 and lived outside of DC until second grade.  We lived in Oxen Hill, Maryland and my father worked on the phone system in all the government buildings.  We vacationed in Ocean City, Maryland while all my baby photos are near and around the sites of DC!  We were Redskin’s fans with Sonny Jorgensen as quarterback.  So many of the things you spoke of brought back so many memories as well!   Thanks so much for bringing back some good thoughts!!

A Home for All Seasons

17 May 2007 by Lorrie Hicks
I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last. I intended to read it over time, but read it straight through. I couldn't get enough of the heartfelt stories told through the voice of a mother who sees life through realistic eyes, yet always finds the light and love in living. God's love speaks through the Toole family. I hope Sally continues to bless us with more family wisdom told in her lighthearted stories.

Quickly read stories play over and over again in your head as you ponder the richness of her insight.

Great job!

Sally takes simple daily events in her life and shows us the beauty in all of our lives. This is a wonderful book to read slowly and absorb. Here's a perfect gift for someone you love.
